You can. Custer is a short drive from camp and has good options, and the day‑attendee registration exists for exactly this reason — you attend the sessions and excursions and sleep in town.

We would gently push back, though. The fire pit conversations, the late evenings, and the slow mornings are where much of the value actually lives, and staying off‑site means missing them. If you do stay in town, tell us in advance so we can plan around your arrivals.

There is wifi at the lodge. Cell coverage across the Black Hills is patchy and drops out entirely in places.
