ROPING LESSONS
Learning to rope, whether in knot tying or leadership, parallels essential skills. Like a skilled mountaineer secures knots, a leader binds their team through clear communication and thoughtful strategies. Precision matters in both domains – each knot or decision is deliberate.
Adaptability is crucial; just as cowboys choose their ropes and horses based on the job to be done, leaders tailor their approach to their team's dynamics. Patience and practice characterize both endeavors, with mastery arising from learning and adapting to mistakes.
Ropes symbolize connection, reflecting the leader's role in fostering strong interpersonal bonds within the team. In essence, the art of learning to rope encapsulates the key elements of effective leadership – precision, adaptability, patience, and the ability to build meaningful connections.
CAMPFIRE STORIES
Gathering around a campfire fosters leadership qualities through a unique blend of camaraderie and shared experiences. The informal setting encourages open communication, breaking down hierarchical barriers. As the flames flicker, leaders have an opportunity to connect with their team on a personal level, creating a sense of trust and unity. The shared warmth and the simplicity of the environment strip away pretenses, allowing for genuine conversations that reveal individual strengths and challenges. Leading around a campfire involves active listening, understanding diverse perspectives, and fostering collaboration.
The campfire setting also presents challenges, such as organizing tasks like promoting teamwork and problem-solving. Overall, the campfire experience cultivates leadership by emphasizing connection, authenticity, teamwork, and adaptability, essential qualities for effective leadership in any setting.
STUNTMAN SECRETS
Learning from a stuntman about taking a punch and giving a punch translates into valuable business lessons. Taking a punch involves resilience, the ability to absorb setbacks, and bounce back. It teaches us to persevere through challenges. On the flip side, giving a punch is about delivering impactful strategies or innovations, making a mark in the industry. This implies the importance of proactive, assertive actions in business. Just as a stuntman prepares meticulously for stunts, in business, thorough planning and risk management are crucial. The lessons extend to risk-taking, adaptability, and strategic execution. Ultimately, understanding the dynamics of taking and giving "punches" in business cultivates a resilient, proactive mindset essential for navigating the dynamic and competitive landscape.

Not at all. We DO NOT RIDE. All learning from the herd is done on the ground amongst them. NO horse experience is required at all! If you are a bit fearful, that’s ok too! We will work with your comfort level.
By investing in this event, you'll enjoy a range of benefits including hands-on learning, one-on-one coaching sessions, food, beverages, wine and whiskey tastings, and lodging. Additionally, there will be various activities such as clay pigeon shooting, hiking, biking, and ATV rides. This event also provides excellent networking opportunities with our hosts and fellow attendees.

Clothing wise: casual, sporty. Plan on layers and even though it may be warm where you are, make sure to bring something for a cool night by the fire, or morning coffee on a porch. Closed toes shoes for the horse sessions with no exceptions. Boots are best.
Average is 85℉ during the day and 59 ℉ at night through September. Mostly sunny.
Absolutely. We give plenty of free time in the schedule for you to nap, get a massage ( extra cost for the masseuse and advance notice to us is recommended as that is first come, first served). There is also a multitude of activities, from ATV’s, mountain biking, hiking, wildlife viewing and clay shooting.
Utah has many variations on alcohol laws, it’s true. We will have a cash bar along with our tastings of wine and whiskey.
