Build Your Own CRM with Claude Code

Speaker: Liam Floyd

Co-Founder, Automation Interns, pairing small businesses with ASU engineers to build practical AI systems.

Yaseen Arshad

Time: 12:00–1:30PM

Location: Chandler

DESCRIPTION:

Most businesses run their sales on a patchwork: a spreadsheet here, a notebook there, follow-up that depends on someone remembering. What if the system your business actually needs is one you could build yourself, without a software budget or an engineering team?

Liam Floyd, Co-Founder of Automation Interns, will show the custom CRM he is building with Claude Code to run his company's entire sales process: lead flow, follow-up, call notes, and client opportunities. He is building it out of necessity as Automation Interns scales its outreach and inbound pipeline across multiple industries. This is not AI as a future concept. It is a real build in progress, shaped by the same build-versus-buy questions every owner faces.

Whether you are an owner buried in manual admin or a builder wiring up your own agentic systems, you will see how AI development tools like Claude Code let non-technical operators build practical internal systems, cut the busywork, and clean up a messy sales process. You will leave with a clear model you can apply to your own business.

Leading the session is Liam Floyd, Co-Founder of Automation Interns, an Arizona company that pairs small and medium-sized businesses with talented ASU engineers to build practical AI systems and automations. Liam leads sales and business development, finding the repetitive workflows inside a business and turning them into buildable projects. He is joined by his co-founder, Jon Schack.

Free to attend, lunch on us.

The AI Tool Drop

Speaker: Kyle Chalmers

Founder of Workuity Center for AI Excellence, Operator-perspective on putting AI to work for small business.

Dan Kite LinkedIn

Time: 12:00–1:30PM

Location: Chandler

DESCRIPTION:

AI moves faster than any one person can track, and the AI Tool Drop is how we keep up together. It is a recurring AI Exchange session built on one promise: the latest news, the newest releases, and the tools actually worth using right now, current to the week we run it.

This edition lands in the middle of a big month. OpenAI just shipped ChatGPT Work, a unified desktop app with Codex built in, and the GPT-5.6 model family. On the Anthropic side: Claude Fable and Cowork, the desktop agent for everyday business work. We will put them side by side: what the real differences are, how to choose the best model for a given job, and what Google and the fast-rising challengers just added to the mix.

Free to attend, lunch on us.

Arizona AI Agent Hackathon

Time: 8:00AM–5:00PM

Location: Chandler

DESCRIPTION:

There's no shortage of AI hype. This is the weekend you build something real. The Arizona AI Agent Hackathon brings 200 developers, founders, students, operators, designers, and builders to Workuity Chandler for two days of building real projects with AI agents. It's framework-agnostic: use OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenClaw, custom Python, no-code tools, or whatever stack helps you ship fastest. The goal is simple: build something useful.

Over two days you'll form teams, build, test, and present a working AI agent to a panel of judges. Build anything useful, creative, or weird: business and operations automation, research agents, agent-powered dashboards, developer tools, multi-agent workflows, voice or browser agents. Projects are judged on creativity, practical utility, technical execution, agent design, and presentation.

Who it's for: developers, founders prototyping AI products, students and early-career builders, data scientists exploring agentic workflows, and business people with problems worth solving who want to team up with technical builders. No prior experience with any specific framework required, just curiosity, energy, and a willingness to build.

Bring your laptop, your charger, and your ideas. We'll bring the builders. Free to attend, and spots are limited.

The AI Data Diet: Cheaper, Faster, More Accurate AI

Speaker: Patrick Neyland, Founder of Neyland Solutions

AI automations expert helping small businesses use AI in practical, approachable ways.

Time: 12:00–1:30PM

Location: Chandler

DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever handed an LLM a 200-page PDF and watched it choke? Slow answers, missed details, made-up page numbers. Or wished your AI just knew your business without you pasting everything in, every single time?

The problem usually isn't the AI. It's what you're feeding it.

Patrick Neland is back at the AI Exchange (his last session packed the room) to show you how an LLM actually reads your information, and every lever you can pull to make it cheaper, faster, and more accurate. At the center is his Hierarchy of Data Efficiency: a simple way to see where you sit today, where you should sit given the business you run, and exactly what to change to move up.

Some owners need to be at the top of this hierarchy. Some roles barely need to climb it at all. You'll leave knowing which one you are, and with a clear next step either way.

Bring a real document or dataset you wish AI handled better.

Free to attend, lunch on us.
